GrizzlyTrek is hiring a Commissioning Operator for a 12-month, 40-hour-per-week contract in Sherwood Park, Alberta, starting October 19, 2026. The role supports commissioning and startup of three gas turbine generators and one steam turbine generator, including walkdowns, isolations, chemical cleaning, cold and hot commissioning, testing, synchronization, load progression, and reliability testing. The position requires a 4th Class or higher Power Engineer certificate and strong knowledge of gas or steam turbine generator operation; 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience is preferred. The contract pays $65.00 to $72.00 per hour and includes health, dental, life insurance, travel insurance, and training benefits.
