Virtuozzo is hiring a contractor C Developer for its kernel team to work on core Linux kernel subsystems, container isolation, resource optimization, and large-scale virtual environments. The role involves debugging kernel issues, collaborating with upstream maintainers, merging patches, and representing the company at Linux Foundation events. It is a global remote position requiring strong C programming, kernel subsystem knowledge, syscall and kernel/user-space understanding, and debugging experience; open-source contributions, namespaces, cgroups, KVM, Python, and DevOps familiarity are preferred.
