Shield AI is hiring a C++ Edge Systems Software Engineer to develop, test, debug, and maintain C++ software for Linux-based edge computing platforms, including NVIDIA Jetson and ARM64 systems. The role covers imaging, sensor integration, diagnostics, mission applications, calibration, synchronization, observability, deployment, and system integration, with collaboration across hardware, AI, autonomy, product, and test teams. Candidates need a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, a solid C++ foundation, Linux or Windows software development experience, hardware-interaction experience, and eligibility for Australian NV1 (Secret) clearance and access to ITAR- and export-controlled data.
