Description
The Engineering Intern supports engineering project teams in the maritime and naval industries by contributing to applied engineering design, engineering systems development, detailed design, AutoCAD drawing development, design modeling, regulatory compliance, and shipboard system and structural tracing. The role requires junior or senior undergraduate study in structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering leading to an ABET-accredited engineering or Naval Architecture degree, a GPA of 2.8 or higher, required transcripts and a professor recommendation, background checks, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work in shipboard and shipyard environments. The position pays $21.50 per hour and requires 10% travel.
