Description
Applied Materials is hiring a Software Engineer in Bangalore to design, prototype, and develop moderately complex software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices. The role includes creating reusable software modules and libraries, documenting software and test procedures, troubleshooting moderately difficult problems, implementing bug fixes, and communicating with internal and external customers on requirements, schedules, and troubleshooting. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–4 years of related experience, with proficiency in C/C++, .Net, C#, operating systems, networking, algorithms, and multi-threading. It is a full-time regular assignment with 10% travel and relocation eligibility.
