Description
Kunai is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to support a high-impact digital payments modernization program for a major card-network integration with a large United States financial institution. The role is hands-on and spans full-stack backend services, domain and service architecture, event-driven integrations, micro-frontend and identity systems, cloud governance, deployment, performance testing, CI/CD, and application modernization. It requires at least five years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in Java, along with strong database, containerized-platform, Spring Boot, Kafka, OAuth2/OIDC, and enterprise performance-testing experience. Visa sponsorship is unavailable, but flexible work arrangements are offered.
