APN Consulting is seeking a highly experienced CA Datacom/DB Database Administrator for a remote role supporting complex, business-critical enterprise mainframe environments. The position provides specialist database administration, architecture and internals expertise, troubleshooting, performance tuning, migration support, risk mitigation, and escalation for CA Datacom/DB databases operating within IBM z/OS. The role requires strong hands-on Datacom/DB experience, PL/I knowledge, analytical troubleshooting skills, independent problem-solving, and collaboration with application, infrastructure, and mainframe teams.
