Description
The Donor Center Technician I evaluates donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, reviews and documents donor information and immunization records, monitors adverse reactions, consults with the Licensed Physician, counsels deferred donors, and supports compliance with SOPs, cGMP, FDA, CLIA, and other regulatory requirements. The role also includes training new medical professionals, serving as a QA backup, and performing other donor-center duties. It requires a recognized healthcare-related program, EMT or equivalent certification, a current state license or certification, CPR certification, and state authorization for moderate-complexity testing; one year of relevant experience is preferred.
