Description
The Cable Assembler builds precision cable assemblies for critical industry applications using stranded wire rope, conduit, sub-assemblies, fasteners, and other components according to customer specifications. The role operates rotary swagers, pneumatic and hydraulic crimpers and presses, grinders, and load-testing equipment; inspects and changes tooling; identifies materials; follows production drawings and quality standards; and maintains a safe work area. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, at least three years of assembly, manufacturing, or production experience, and the ability to lift at least 55 pounds. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with a stated salary of $24.00 to $30.00.
