Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an onsite Cable Connector Engineer to work primarily from an HPE office. The role focuses on designing, developing, qualifying, and consolidating cable and connector solutions for server, storage, networking, and data center applications. Responsibilities include selecting off-the-shelf or custom interconnect solutions, characterizing performance under electrical, environmental, and mechanical stresses, proposing interconnect strategies, and managing vendor specifications, schedules, testing, costs, and technical deliverables. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 5–15 years of cable and connector design experience.
