Description
The client is hiring a Cable Technician to install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage cabling systems in commercial or industrial environments. The role includes Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling, cable pulling and support installation, patch-panel and network-rack termination, blueprint interpretation, fault troubleshooting, equipment mounting, and documentation. Candidates need 1–5+ years of structured-cabling experience, knowledge of TIA/EIA standards, RJ45 and fiber-connector termination skills, blueprint-reading ability, and a valid driver's license; BICSI, OSHA, data-center, security, access-control, CCTV, or AV experience is preferred. The position pays $20–$25 per hour and requires travel to job sites.
