Description
The Cable Technician will install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain copper layer-one cabling for data infrastructure in a large enterprise environment. The role includes cable labeling, pathway implementation, test equipment operation, documentation, network-device support, and on-call data center and fab operations. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, a criminal background check, and residence within a one-hour drive of the North Austin to Taylor area. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on-call work, and pays $25.50 to $29 per hour.
