Description
The Communications Technician will install, terminate, and support low-voltage and structured cabling systems in commercial environments. Responsibilities include installing work-area outlets, pulling and routing cable, preparing cable for termination, building telecommunications closets, installing racks and patch panels, grounding equipment, performing fire-stopping, and terminating low-voltage devices. The role requires blueprint interpretation, commercial or telecommunications experience, physical ability to lift and work in confined spaces, and willingness to travel locally and regionally. It is a fully onsite contract position in Fairfax, Iowa, with pay of $18.00–$22.00 per hour and an anticipated application deadline of September 29, 2026.
