Description
ValidaTek is hiring a Cable Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fiber optic and copper telecommunications cabling in a secured Department of Defense IT environment. The role includes testing and certification using network testers, OTDRs, and fiber power meters, documenting installations and repairs, supporting infrastructure upgrades, and collaborating with network engineers and project stakeholders. Candidates must have at least three years of related telecommunications experience, BICSI knowledge, relevant fiber and CAT6 certifications, an active Secret clearance, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
