AECOM is hiring a Cables System Design Engineer to support the full lifecycle of onshore high- and extra-high-voltage cable projects across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The role covers feasibility, concept and detailed design, cable rating and system studies, route development, burial risk assessments, installation support, commissioning, and coordination with manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and third-party inspectors. Candidates should have an electrical engineering degree or HNC qualification, FEED experience, and experience in regulated environments; the position offers hybrid working and access to AECOM’s career development and technical practice networks.
