Optics11 is hiring a Subsea Cabling Development Engineer to develop and realize the OptiBarrier fiber-optic cabling infrastructure subsystem. The role covers subsea cable routing, connectors, splices, junction-box interfaces, strain relief, mechanical protection, optical-link performance, prototyping, testing, integration, offshore deployment, supplier collaboration, and technical documentation. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, at least five years of experience with complex fiber-optic, electro-mechanical, marine, or subsea systems, CAD proficiency, and eligibility for EU/NATO security clearance.
