Description
The CAD/CAM Engineer translates engineering designs into precise 2D and 3D shop drawings, fabrication specifications, spool drawings, hanger layouts, and installation routes for HVAC and industrial ductwork systems. The role uses AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM coordination platforms; coordinates with workers, project managers, and other trades; determines sheet-metal types, gauges, and quantities; and updates drawings for construction changes, RFIs, and field conditions. Candidates need two years of college-level coursework in Industrial Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and training.
