Description
The CAD/CAM Programmer reviews drawings, creates and verifies machining programs using AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Mastercam, and supports project management by monitoring machining outcomes. The role may set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, design fixtures and work-holding, prepare setup sheets and tooling lists, and communicate with supervisors and machinists. Candidates need MasterCAM experience, CNC programming and machining skills, CAD/CAM experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent; previous CNC machining experience or trade school graduation is preferred. The position pays $30–$35 USD and requires the ability to work independently, at a desk and machining floor, lift 35 pounds occasionally, stand for extended periods, and work overtime as required.
