AES Clean Energy is hiring a CAD Professional to support the development of solar PV and battery energy storage system projects. The role collaborates with Development Engineers and Senior Designers to produce preliminary AutoCAD site plans, constraint maps, design packages, single-line diagrams, layouts, bills of materials, and electrical construction details. Candidates need an AAS degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting or equivalent, at least two years of drafting or design experience in solar PV or renewables, AutoCAD proficiency, and familiarity with solar layouts, civil and grading design, and electrical terminology. Preferred locations include Salt Lake City, Louisville, New York City, and Arlington, with up to 10% travel. The expected starting salary is $68,000 to $81,600 per year, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off benefits.
