OBE is hiring a CAD Engineer to develop detailed, fabrication-ready shop drawings for architectural glazing and building envelope systems. The role involves interpreting architectural drawings, producing multi-view drawings, reviewing and revising designs, maintaining records in Autodesk Vault, and collaborating with sales and engineering teams. Candidates need at least five years of AutoCAD drafting experience, a two-year degree in drafting, architecture, or a related field, and strong problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, and time-management skills; experience with glass railing, curtain wall, door, gate, and other building envelope products is preferred. The position pays $37–$40 USD.
