Description
Dashiell is hiring a Structural CAD Technician II to prepare structural design drawings under general supervision for structural engineering projects. The role involves drafting steel, concrete, and miscellaneous structural details; producing plan views, sections, elevations, equipment support structures, notes, schedules, and drawing lists; coordinating with designers and project teams; maintaining drawing files; revising drawings; and performing quality checks. The position is based in Dashiell’s Austin, Texas office and reports to the Design Supervisor. Applicants need an associate’s degree in CAD Technology, Drafting & Design, or a comparable field, or two years of equivalent work experience, plus at least one year of drafting experience in a structural engineering or industrial environment.
