AECOM is hiring a Cadet Structural Designer in Townsville to support the planning, design, and delivery of mining, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The role involves drafting and design input, technical support for engineering drawings and documentation, accurate design production, collaboration with senior engineers and project managers, and exposure to multidisciplinary project delivery. Candidates should have completed or be completing Year 12 and meet the minimum enrolment requirements for an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering through the University of Southern Queensland or Central Queensland University; the role is intended for candidates studying for the degree in 2027. AECOM will pay for the studies and offers hybrid work options.
