Description
Ascend Performance Materials is hiring a CAE Engineer – Structural in Shanghai to conduct finite-element analysis of polyamide components, support product development and customer applications, and provide mechanical engineering consultation on material performance, failure analysis, design optimization, and troubleshooting. The role requires a master's degree in Mechanical or Plastic Engineering, five years of automotive or general industrial CAE experience, Hyperworks structural FEA experience, and experience with static, dynamic, fatigue, creep, nonlinear material, durability, and load-path analyses. It is an in-person position reporting to the Global Application Development Manager.
