Description
Ford is hiring an Engine CAE Engineer to lead multi-body dynamics computer-aided engineering analyses for internal combustion engines and related components. The role performs FEA, structural durability, NVH, reliability, robustness, and optimization analyses; provides design direction to engine components and programs teams; develops and improves CAE methodologies and guidelines; and supports prototype and production programs. Candidates should have a master’s degree in automotive engineering or a related field, at least two years of engine components and systems design and analysis experience, and proficiency with CAE tools such as AVL Excite, Realis Valdyn, Hypermesh, Optistruct, and MATLAB. The position is hybrid, with possible onsite work of four or more days per week, and offers salary grades 7 and 8 ranging from $86,600 to $166,200.
