Ascend Performance Materials is hiring an in-person CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) Engineer – Structural in Chennai, India. The role conducts structural finite element analysis simulations on polyamide components for product development and customer applications, provides mechanical engineering consultation on material performance, failure analysis, and product design, and supports troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, material selection, design optimization, and validation against physical testing. The position requires a master's degree in Mechanical or Plastic Engineering, at least five years of automotive or general industrial CAE experience involving structural plastic applications and injection molding, and experience with Abaqus and HyperWorks.
