Description
The Café Assistant is a full-time, hourly, unioned role reporting to the Café Manager and responsible for supervising and motivating café staff, maintaining customer service standards, expediting orders, stocking and receiving products, managing inventory and displays, ensuring sanitation and safety, maintaining equipment, and performing opening, closing, and backup duties. The position requires food-service and food-preparation experience and works in a fast-paced retail café environment during busy retail times, including weekends, afternoons, and evenings.
