Description
Carrier is hiring a Calculation Engine Engineer for its Modeling and Simulation team to develop and maintain calculation engines supporting commercial HVAC equipment and sales tools. The role applies thermodynamics, heat transfer, and numerical methods to create accurate engineering algorithms, collaborates with optimization, marketing, product engineering, and global teams, and supports integration, validation, testing, and deployment of the engines. Candidates need at least two years of relevant engineering experience, a master’s degree, programming experience in Python, Modelica, C++, or a related language, and HVAC/R or power plant equipment experience.
