Description
The Calibration Technician Senior performs precise calibration, inspection, troubleshooting, minor repairs, adjustments, and data collection on electrical, electronic, physical, and mechanical reference and secondary standards and test measurement and diagnostic equipment. The role maintains equipment traceability to NIST, the United States Navy, or other recognized national metrology institutes and may participate in audits and assessments. Candidates need technical knowledge in physical sciences or electronics, mechanical aptitude, computer skills, calibration experience, and a U.S. DoD security clearance; the posting lists $31.91–$44.02 in pay and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
