AbbVie is hiring a Comparative Medicine Training Specialist to lead training, compliance, and learning-system administration for California research sites, including Irvine and the AbbVie Bay Area campus in South San Francisco. The role develops and delivers hands-on laboratory animal science training, manages training records and competency evaluations, supports vivarium access and facility readiness, and maintains SOP and regulatory documentation. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with 3+ years, at least 3 years of training experience, laboratory animal science and regulatory knowledge, and AALAS certification or higher.
