Apple is hiring a Camera Process Development Engineer to work on advanced camera assembly processes and equipment for new camera module technologies. The role involves defining active alignment equipment specifications, process flows, qualification procedures, and metrologies; collaborating with optics engineers on simulations and active alignment methods; conducting proof-of-concept evaluations and design-of-experiments; characterizing processes; establishing manufacturability guidelines; and reporting engineering studies. The position requires a science or engineering degree, at least three years of process R&D experience, and hands-on camera active alignment process development experience.
