Apple is hiring a Camera Hardware Engineer to lead the development of high-performance compact camera modules. The role involves designing camera module structures and packaging, injection-molded and sheet-metal parts, PCBs, and other components; creating manufacturing and inspection drawings; performing tolerance analysis; collaborating with component and camera manufacturing partners; documenting mechanical inspection and test requirements; and directing FEA engineers. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or physics field and experience designing miniature component or opto-mechanical modules for high-volume products.
