Ford is hiring a Camera Software Engineering Manager to own end-to-end delivery of in-vehicle camera features across IVI software and embedded camera firmware. The role leads requirements, architecture, implementation, integration, validation, manufacturing readiness, and OTA releases; coordinates Android, firmware, hardware, security, V&V, quality, and manufacturing teams; and manages camera pipelines, video streaming, H.264/H.265 encoding, ISP, machine-learning and computer-vision capabilities, vehicle-network communication, and secure provisioning. Candidates need 7–10 years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading engineering teams, along with expertise in camera software, Linux, C/C++, embedded systems, and cross-functional program management.
