Required Previous Experiences: Ability to follow special dietary restrictions and allergen food preparation guidelines.
Ability to collaborate effectively with client camp staff and management teams.

Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of high volume commercial kitchen experience.
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.).
Ability to pass a background check.
Must successfully complete additional camp required background checks and camp-specific training.
Must have a valid food safety handler and sanitation certification in accordance with state and local regulations, or obtain one within 30 days of employment.
Setting up workstations for food and ingredient preparation.
Preparing food using various equipment, monitoring and adjusting as needed during the cooking process.
Ensuring great presentation by dressing dishes before serving.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room.
Assisting with unloading, inspecting, and storing raw ingredients and supplies.
Enforcing sanitation and food safety standards according to state and local regulations.
