Campus Security Ofcr at Southern College of Optometry

The Security Officer provides security for Southern College of Optometry employees, students, facilities, and visitors. Duties include patrolling, identifying unauthorized persons, monitoring surveillance, responding to emergencies, providing customer service, writing reports and citations, assisting investigations, and coordinating lost-and-found activities. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of security or related experience, Tennessee non-commissioned unarmed officer licensing or the ability to obtain an approved license, and availability for rotating 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3 p.m.–11 p.m., or 11 p.m.–7 a.m. shifts.
