Description
The Poway Unified School District is hiring School Security Guards to patrol and supervise school campuses, enforce rules, monitor student and visitor activity, respond to incidents, assist with traffic and parking, search for contraband, and provide security at events. The role is based at Mt. Carmel High School on a traditional schedule or at the Career Technical Adult Education Campus on a modified schedule, with shifts ranging from 18 to 35 hours per week. Compensation is $20.44 per hour at Step 1, with a classified salary range of $20.44 to $26.17 per hour and limited-term substitute pay of $20.44 per hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma, pass the CBEST, complete SB1626 training, and hold valid first aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
