Description
The Capital Construction Oversight Specialist will support the Office of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Inspector General in overseeing the MTA’s multibillion-dollar capital construction program. The role reviews contracts, procurement, billings, project management plans, inspections, payroll, and other records; conducts interviews and investigations; identifies fraud, waste, mismanagement, safety, and prevailing-wage issues; prepares reports and testimony; and performs on-site construction inspections and DBE compliance reviews. The position is full-time in New York City, pays $86,225–$107,781, requires a bachelor’s degree and three years of experience or a trade license with five years of relevant experience, and is eligible for hybrid teleworking.
