Velocity Aerospace is hiring a Capability Development Engineer in Burbank, California, to develop, implement, and improve electronic component repair capabilities in an FAA/EASA Part 145 MRO environment. The role involves designing and building test equipment and interfaces, programming and supporting automated and semi-automated test equipment, troubleshooting electronic circuits and systems, translating repair requirements into repeatable engineering solutions, documenting procedures, and collaborating with technicians and engineering, quality, and operations teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering or a related discipline, hands-on electronics troubleshooting experience, and experience with test automation, instrumentation, and test fixtures. The salary is $85,000–$115,000, with health benefits available after 30 days of employment.
