Netflix is hiring a Fleet Planning and Optimization Planner to own the end-to-end strategy for acquiring, deploying, and retiring global hardware infrastructure. The role develops long-range capacity strategies, translates demand forecasts into actionable fleet plans, leads hardware procurement planning, optimizes infrastructure utilization and total cost of ownership, assesses capacity risks, and presents recommendations to senior leadership. It requires at least five years of capacity planning experience in data center, cloud, or network environments, strong data analysis and visualization skills, and proficiency in SQL and Python; technical program management and hardware lifecycle experience are preferred.
