Description
The Capacity Coordinator I, Weekends is responsible for coordinating a small-sized/less complex group of carriers and/or independently contracted (IC) drivers under routine supervision. This role involves ensuring safe and timely service through accurate planning, routing, monitoring, and delivery of freight and loads. The coordinator will need to build and maintain positive relationships with carriers, develop knowledge of optimizing operations, manage inventory, handle administrative duties like payroll and budgeting, coordinate yard duties, act as a liaison to resolve issues, and maintain a safety-compliant culture.
