Description
Amazon is hiring a Capacity Manager to lead end-to-end capacity planning and throughput strategy across multiple workstreams, geographies, and global sites. The role owns headcount planning, staffing and variable-cost optimization, gearing ratios, forecasting, bottleneck analysis, dashboards, capacity reviews, and continuous-improvement initiatives, while collaborating with Finance and Program stakeholders. Candidates need at least five years of program or project management experience, data-driven improvement experience, and experience owning program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership; process-improvement, advanced mathematics or statistics, and workforce-development experience are preferred. The position is available in Arlington, Virginia, and Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of $115,600 to $160,000 annually.
