Description
The Capacity Manager will support the German Armed Forces’ IT digitalization by managing service capacity for data center and virtual server resources. The role captures capacity needs, analyzes future resource requirements, operates capacity-management tools and interfaces, prepares and monitors data, develops data models and workflows, and produces BI reports on capacity, resource consumption, and forecasts. It requires IT-related vocational training or a degree, several years of experience in large IT environments, at least three years in IT service management or IT-system operations, ITIL capacity-management experience, and knowledge of reporting, data analysis, server and database administration, Python, MS SQL, Confluence, and data models. The position is available immediately in Meckenheim and offers a compensation range of €51,300 to €75,140.
