J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is hiring a full-time Capacity Procurement Representative in its Supply Chain department. Under routine supervision, the role negotiates carrier rates to meet load and margin goals, builds and manages a carrier base, tenders and tracks freight through the Carrier360 platform, communicates service issues, verifies carrier and tracking authenticity, and provides timely transportation updates. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and up to one year of relevant experience or equivalent demonstrated capabilities; a related bachelor's degree is preferred. It requires strong communication, relationship management, customer service, analytical judgment, accuracy, Microsoft Office proficiency, prioritization, adaptability, and performance under pressure. The role may require nights and weekends and is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.
