J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is hiring a full-time Capacity Procurement Representative I in Lowell, Arkansas. Under routine supervision, the role negotiates carrier rates to meet load expectations and margin goals, builds and manages a carrier base, tenders and tracks freight through the Carrier360 platform, monitors shipments for on-time pickup and delivery, communicates service failures, verifies carrier authenticity, and provides transportation solutions and customer updates. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and up to one year of relevant experience or equivalent demonstrated skills; a related bachelor's degree is preferred. It requires strong communication, relationship management, customer service, analytical judgment, Microsoft Office, prioritization, adaptability, accountability, and stress-management skills.
