J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is hiring a Capacity Procurement Representative in Akron, Ohio, within its Supply Chain department. The role negotiates carrier rates to meet load, revenue, and margin goals; builds and manages a carrier base; tenders and tracks freight through the Carrier360 platform; monitors pickups and deliveries; communicates service failures; verifies carrier authenticity and tracking; and provides transportation updates and customer service. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED and up to one year of relevant transportation, logistics, business administration, or account management experience, with a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
