Description

The Capital Markets Financial Analyst supports a Washington DC-based broker team at Cushman & Wakefield, focusing on capital markets equity, debt, and structured finance. This role involves preparing financial analyses, valuations, and marketing materials, managing debt sizing and financial modeling using Excel and Argus, conducting due diligence, and assisting in transaction closings.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate, preferably with a Master’s degree or MBA.
Required Previous Experiences: 1-2 years of commercial real estate financial analysis and/or finance experience, preferably with a commercial real estate firm involved in consulting, appraisal, investing, lending, or brokerage.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to build, analyze, and summarize complex financial models in Excel and Argus.
Strong written communication skills developing high-level analysis summaries.
Passion for client delivery, with a strong emphasis on producing high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and possessing strong personal initiative to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being capable of independent work with minimal direct oversight.
Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
