Description
The County Project Manager leads capital improvement projects for Guilford County, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, space, and new-construction projects. The role manages project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, procurement, change management, construction administration, contractor coordination, technical reviews, bids, close-out, and stakeholder communication. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a similar field plus progressively responsible project management experience, or equivalent education and experience combinations. The position is primarily office-based but requires driving to county facilities and construction sites and working outdoors in variable weather.
