Description
MCDOT’s Division of Parking Management is hiring a Capital Project Manager to manage complex capital improvement projects, including planning, design, construction, completion, acceptance, and close-out. The role oversees multi-million-dollar parking garage and lot renovation projects and other stand-alone projects, potentially involving public-private partnerships and mixed-use developments. Responsibilities include engineering design and construction scheduling, budgeting, scope control, contract administration, permitting, public involvement, cost estimating, 3D engineering workflows, and coordination with planners, architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals. The position requires off-site work and five years of professional experience in design/construction project management, contract administration, and quality control.
