Description
The Captain/Pilot is responsible for safely navigating inland waterways, operating and managing the vessel and tow, maintaining safety, security, environmental, and operational standards, supervising crew, conducting audits and training, and preparing for emergencies. The role requires a valid USCG Merchant Mariner’s Credential with Towing Endorsement, TWIC, Radar Endorsement, drug testing, random DOT testing, and a USCG physical examination; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
