Description
The Cardiology Technician performs electrocardiograms and assists with cardiac stress testing, presents completed exams for physician interpretation, and handles cardiology diagnostic testing clerical work such as filing, EKG transcription, reception, and record management. The full-time position works Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with possible Stress Lab coverage on three-day holiday weekends. A high school diploma or GED and Basic Life Support certification are required, while prior EKG or stress-testing experience, Basic Arrhythmia Course completion, and computer application experience are preferred.
