Mira Mace is hiring a remote Care Advocate to support Medicare patients after their initial clinical visit. The role provides non-clinical navigation, including care-plan understanding, appointment scheduling, provider communication, insurance and portal support, referrals, and connections to food, housing, and transportation resources. The advocate coordinates with clinical team members, documents interactions, maintains confidentiality, and manages a caseload. The position requires Community Health Worker certification or equivalent patient-navigation experience, at least two years of relevant experience, knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system and Medicare, and the ability to work independently. It is a 1099 independent-contractor role requiring at least 20 hours per week, with compensation of $20–$25 per hour.
